Financial Knowledge Institute gave a free presentation as part of a series titled “Institute for Caregivers: Free Classes for Family Caregivers.” Held at the Manlius Library Community Room, this series is part of the Onondaga County Department of Aging and Youth.
Our presentation was called “Financial Foundations” and was an introduction to the basics of financial planning. We covered some of the important financial topics that some families struggle with, and outlined some easy to follow steps to improved financial health. Areas covered include Health Insurance/Medicare, investing, long term care planning, retirement income, etc. We had many great questions from the audience and hope to do this again soon!
